Marjorie nailed it in re the movie, in my opinion.

You should check it out, with the understanding that as marjorie says it was made for the widest audience possible and isn’t going to be particularly satisfying, probably, for anyone already up on the science. I think the movie succeeds though.

I put off watching it too for years.

Maybe I will. I got a hunch though. I bet most of the critics of the movie never saw it.
