I’m not following. Is he suggesting that John Paul II was a willing patsy, going along with Thatcher and Reagan instead of standing up to them?

He implies that the good popes are friends with good people, the bad with bad. Only question is, why he sees Putin as bad. I guess wingnuts are divided on this one.
