Calvinist’s at heart. The ‘murikan Protestant history rears it’s ugly head.

As a descendant of good Irish, German, and Slavic Catholics(well my one great grandfather was born Lutheran), I’ve never fallen into the Calvinist mindset of bad things happen to you because you deserve it. Maybe that’s part of why I’m a bleeding heart because blaming people for circumstances beyond their control pisses me off.
