I hate to defend Alito, Gorsuch, & Roberts because I think they’re awful judges and I don’t think much of them as men either but they didn’t have these allegations against them. Crying Anita Hill is really pathetic here.

Actually, I think Anita Hill is an excellent parallel. She didn’t want the exposure, but in the end she made her accusations publicly, and stood up under the withering fire of the Judiciary Committee. And she got viciously attacked for it, written off as “a bit nutty and a bit slutty”, and Clarence Thomas got the seat he’s held for 27 years now.

We blew that one. Maybe this time, we don’t?
