I guess the Senate Republicans don’t understand this co-equal part of the government business, unless the President is a Democrat. So the new rule is that if Trump doesn’t approve, they won’t send it to him. Hmmm — does that mean that the kompromat is now so overwhelming that they cannot afford to cross Trump? Or is it that they are so afraid of their base, that they cannot stand up for what’s right? Or is it merely that they are all sociopaths who don’t care about this nation anyway?

As I noted yesterday, Mitch McConnell is the real power here, and he has effectively turned the Senate into one-party rule.

Kompromat may be involved here, but the GOP has sought destruction of democracy all my life. It is within their grasp now, and Trump makes a perfect scapegoat.
