Now that I think about it…that may make Bush even worse.

That is unfair to Bush. Before the 2000 election, a wealthy RW cousin explained to me that we didn’t have to worry about Bush’s foreign policy inexperience because he had the very knowledgeable Cheney guiding him. Bush was instructed by Cheney; he didn’t really understand the issues and left it in Cheney’s hands. Once again, the fault was with voters, but Bush-Cheney were not out of the mainstream like the Trump-Pence ticket. And who would have thought that Bush would not ask his father for guidance. Bush Sr would never have approved of the Iraqi adventure.
