Heh, I can hear the Kremlin’s justification already - “BAH! IS DECADENT WESTERN IMPERIALIST FAST FOOD! TRUE RUSSIAN FAST FOOD MADE OF TURNIPS AND SAWDUST!!”

Took them two weeks to realize the war wasn’t gonna end overnight and public sentiment was gonna kick them in the ass, then another two months to figure out that the war’s not gonna end before the costs of maintaining empty stores was gonna start eating into their profits.
