Yes, they are. The Romney campaign’s out there right now, trying to assure the elderly vote that Ryan didn’t really mean all those things said about turning Medicare into a voucher program, that the “Romney Plan” will totally avoid doing any such thing while also balancing the budget, solving world hunger, and whitening our teeth.

I hate to go all “MSM is the root of all evil”, but Jon Stewart ran a piece the other night showing said MSM canonizing Ryan as a “serious and brave” candidate. Naturally, Stewart took all of 18 seconds to show what this guy’s record actually was.

I wonder if this uptick has something to do with most media refusing to actually look at his record. Soledad O’Brien is my personal hero right now; she’s actually researching this guy.
