A friend on Facebook asked one of her friends (who was arguing against any new gun laws), ‘How would it feel if one of your kids was among the dead?’ The woman replied, ‘That would not happen, as I am always armed, as are my children.’

I pointed out that in that situation, she and her armed kids would have been sitting ducks just like everybody else at that concert.

These people are so fucking obstinate about common-sense gun laws, they think just carrying a goddamned gun makes them bullet-proof or something.

Out of 22K at that concert, how many of those people were likely carrying? And did it help at all?
