Lets continue to shoot ourselves in the foot and handicap ourselves even more. Fuck resigning. Fuck the moral high ground. The moral high ground means nothing to Republicans. It means nothing to their supporters. It means nothing to the media. The only place it means something is with Democrats. This is a war. Sometimes we have to make due with what we have albeit in an imperfect form. We can’t continue to fight this war with one hand tied behind our back at all times. Go on the offensive.

If I was Franken I would put out a statement that he’ll resign as soon as every single Republican politician on a national level resigns over accusations that are even worse. Put the story back to the Republicans elected a serial sexual predator as President. They are about to elect a serial child molester to Senate. There are others in national office that have done worse.
