There’s an instagram page that I check occasionally that’s a flat earth page. Every once in a while, I want to ask them how they explain the amount of day light and twilight that Ushuaia, Capetown, and Sydney get on December 20, but I just can’t bring myself to engage with them.

Although, rather entertainingly, Kelly Slater (pro surfer) has started commenting on posts and picking fights with them. Which is pretty cool.

I was telling a student of mine about that whole flat-earth twaddle; she didn’t believe me, so I told her to check out some info about online.

I saw her today, and she still had a hard time processing that yes, some people really are that clueless.
