So you don’t mind the inconsistency in the arguments that we shouldn’t take feelings into consideration when discussing the Park 51 placement but we should take them into consideration when some whack job burns a bunch of korans?

Jones burning Qurans is meaningless. He has a right to do just that and I have a right to criticize him.

Park51 can build a mosque near GZ and Pamela Geller has a right to be critical.

People have every right to choose sides and defend or criticize whoever they please.

Public opinion will assign credibility or irrelevance as they see fit. Common sense will assign intellectual consistency, adhesion to American values or masked bigotry.

That’s just the way it is.

Further, opponents and proponents of either side may at times misspeak, fumble or be wrong. So what? It is in the essence of their message that their positions can be found.
