Pompeo lied about his ties to a Chinese company. That’s disqualifying IMO and should ordinarily mean that his nomination is killed, but this is Trumpworld, where the GOP rubber stamps all Trump extremist picks because it just furthers the GOP agenda of destroying functioning government to funnel more tax breaks to millionaires like Trump.
