Who is this, and what did he do?

Today on The 700 Club, Pat Robertson interviewed David Mamet about his recently discovered conservative beliefs and new book, and both agreed that American Jews who don’t agree with their views on Israel suffer from “self-hatred.” Robertson was baffled why “liberal Jews in America” don’t share his views on Israel and Mamet criticized President Obama as a “one-worlder” who opposes Israel, saying, “my people, the Jews, have a lot to answer for” over their support for Obama. Robertson asked, “do you think the Jews are ever gonna wake up?”

Mamet is another one of those former liberals turned “Born Again Right Wing” after 9/11. Not born again in the Christian sense. I see them as born again ideologically. So they’re a bit like former smokers if you know what I mean.
