I don’t know about that. This entire situation is going to provide psychologists and sociologists with decades of case study material. One thing I didn’t really appresciate fully before what the extreme degrees to which members of a group will conflate the short term desperate expedient needs of that group with their own long term self interest, even when common sense and prior examples should inform them otherwise.

Very true. Pence just strikes me as someone I would never trust. He looks like he was the kid in school that got a copy of the test before hand, was smart enough to change a few answers, and then rat out the guys who gave out the copies. I wouldn’t be surprised at all, if in ten years or so, it came out that he was the one feeding Mueller all the information on Trump corruption while measuring the curtains in the Oval Office and planning an executive order to make chastity belts required for all women who go outside.
