Guess I was wrong. I always thought that the president deserved respect by the office that it afforded. That it was the will of the American people that brought him to that place. That while we might disagree with him, a certain amount of civility to the president was still granted. I thought that was true from Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, and Obama. I guess I was wrong. I thought the incivility expressed towards Bush was bad. But ever since Obama took the oath of office I have never seen such incivility towards a president in all of my life. This, is unprecedented. I am ashamed of my fellow Americans. I have never seen such irrational hatred and paranoia in all of my life with respect to the office.
