I usually try not to go on about how beautiful it is around here because you’d think I was just doing the New Mexico thing about saying Land of Enchantment, or I was a braggart, or didn’t really have anything to talk about…but yesterday and today have been all about the fierce winds and ‘mixed precipitation’, including several types of frozen precip. Before sunset yesterday, there was a crack in the clouds to the west while it was snowing and blowing good, and I saw a snowbow. A fucking SNOWBOW. My new state slogan: FUCKING ENCHANTING

I saw a double rainbow last year. First time ever. And they were as clear and delineated as I have ever seen. But I was in traffic and couldn’t grab my phone to take an image. I was bummed…but I was safe. I got the memories.
