It’s of course, looking far (too far) ahead at this point, but JFTR, a quick check of the Senate roster shows 13 Democrats and 20 Republicans up for reelection in 2022 (with, I think, two retirements from the latter). The good news is that all the Dems are from solidly “blue” states, and seem (at first analysis) to be unlikely NOT to be returned. The bad news is that most of the GOPers are from solidly “red” states, and there doesn’t seem to be very many chances to flip the seats. Three, maybe? I can post a list if anyone’s interested.
