It should be noted that the 3 AZ lawmakers who are bitching the loudest about how their votes were are a mistake…were the 3 deciding votes. Had they thought about how this bill would be received before they cast those votes, it would not have passed.

I think they are genuinely surprised at the intensely negative reaction, thus proving the insular bubble they inhabit. I think they expected applause, not “we are so sick of your hateful shit.” That Gov Brewer is taking so long to veto this foul bill is quite telling as well.
