I think Reine also got sick of being caught up in “The South is evil” meme that gets rolled out without many caveats. Especially after Spencer or one of that ilk says something.

But I’m a relative youngster here, so what do I know. ;P

(Good morning to everyone as well. 20 F out and clear. My preferred winter weather actually. As compared to the 35 F with rain and cloud that the Northeast seems to have set as the standard.)

It’s one of the problems when a discussion is dominated by one side of the political aisle: Things often get to discussions about just how stupid/evil the ‘other side’ is. And if you’re part of the ‘other side’, it gets pretty annoying fast. Honestly, folks here tick me off a great deal when they use “the rubes” as a shorthand for conservative voters.
