In other news, some of you may have heard the news coming out of Chicago where the white cop shot and killed the black teenager.

The mother doesn’t want the video released. That should be the end of it as far as that’s concerned. But as far as the cop and investigation, everything should be available publicly as the investigation ends.

I think the city is releasing it to purposely inflame tensions and to justify their tactics. Apparently the video is very, very bad. Nothing good will come from its release.

I disagree.

The city cannot hide video of murder committed by the police from the public. Period. Whatever the reaction, the public has every right to transparency where serious crimes committed by public servants are concerned.
