Internet service was out all afternoon, recently restored (sort of).

I cannot get to any .net or .org sites, only whitehouse.gov and navy.gov, and littlegreenfootballs.com (no other .gov or .com sites work; at least LGF works… .)

Foreign sites such as dw.de and bbc.co.uk are not working at all.

All the Websites that don’t work send me to CenturyLink’s “setup page” where the setup stays stuck on page one.

Called my telephone company, which insisted I needed to reset my modem. After wrestling with the call centre in India reading from a script and losing, I reset the modem (which takes about five minutes). No change.

“We’ll look into it, sir.”
