Yea the one in the North was in the Midwest state I can’t say the county or state bc someone would definitely know who I am.

Grandpa, well to do from a family with deep roots in the county, found the body (suicide) of a white woman in the creek that ran through his farm.

He alerted authorities, and my mom says it was a tense 4 days. They didn’t take him in put they sorta put my grandfather and his family under house arrest/protection. Which was humiliating. Also this was the 50s.

In the end, everyone decided it was definitely a suicide, and just unfortunate that the body came to rest where it did.
