Right now, one is halfway under the table, the other is supervising.
Both are equally not very good at this particular job…when they somehow manage to actually catch a mouse, 9 times out of 10 the rodent gets away after a long and hard-fought chase/battle.
The one successful time out of ten, the mouse carcass ends up in the bed, in my shoes, or just in the middle of the floor waiting to be stepped upon with a bare foot in the middle of hte night…

My parents’ cats aren’t allowed in the house, so the rodent corpses are usually deposited at the entryway to the garage or in the basement window wells. One cat is quite good at doing the hunting, the other … yeeeeah, not so much. So he supervises. I don’t remember if you guys have seen them, but my parents’ cats are enormous felines, positively yuuuuge. Beautiful animals, but for barn cats, I’ve never seen them grow so big.
