The interview goes downhill from there - Trump’s core bigot demographics talking points are all hit.

These are the people the media, pundits, and some Democrats are saying we need to understand or communicate with?

These are the people who think that their racism and bigotry just got justified with a know-nothing bigot in the WH. That’s all anyone needs to know about them. White supremacists don’t need their bullshit grievances understood.

All that diversity and regular contact with other ethnicities, races, and religions clearly means we urban types live in a bubble and need to know the struggles and concerns of “Real America”. That’s the kind of talk that all these hagiographies toward Trump voters keep telling me: the fact that we’re diverse literally means we’re not really Americans.
