Moore is not stupid, he knows this is totally legal and kosher, but he also knows that it will help fire up his base, and that is the key to winning a state like Alabama.

Ayep, this is about getting the base to the polls. And when your entire line for weeks now has been that there’s a conspiracy to rob you of the election, saying that the other side is bringing in “illegal” voters is too good an opportunity to pass up. Even if it’s absolute bullshit, it’s bullshit that could be the difference between limping across the finish line or giving a concession speech in two weeks time.
