I’m getting really frustrated by the whole “Why not come forward sooner” attitude. I hate seeing it from people I know and care about because honestly I expect better from them and I know that if something like that happened to me, it would be hard for me to talk about it given the stigma of it all.

She did come forward sooner, and Feinstein did the prudent thing and verified it first.
