That’s the point. They talk about “six FBI checks”, but one wasn’t done for the SCOTUS nom.

Actually I am nearly certain one of those background checks was specifically for the supreme court nomination as a background check is pretty much a matter of course for any high level government position so I would need you to cite a valid source before I would believe that.
