It’s always been bulkshit.

Even the notion of Islamic terrorists streaming in from Mexico has been bulkshit article of faith among the bigot brigade base.

Majority of those foreign terrorists have come in legally with visas and overstayed.

A handful have crossed a border illegally - and they’ve come in via Canada, not Mexico.

The thing of it is, that the best way to crack down on those in the US illegally would be to devote more resources to visa processing and citizenship requests.
