Probably something like cookies in a computer that are accessible allowing marketing based on your searches and web sites you visit.

The caller might have access to some info on the phone that allows them to use that info to trick you.

I don’t know if that is going on, but nothing surprises me.

Trace what may be on your phone from CVS Caremark, like if are they in your contacts, or there might be messages you sent mentioning them, etc.

This is an ancient land line with no contacts. I don’t shop at CVS and, as far as I know, I have never called CVS Caremark. The caller id has to be something from AT&T.
