Youtube being a social media site of course offers suggestions based on one’s interests, so among many different topics Youtube throws up orchid videos for me.

I wasn’t expecting this though, a luxury private garden in Jamaica:

That’s quite a garden, I suspect the owner has to be one of the richest people on the island, given Jamaica is not known for being a wealthy nation.

Note: Vandas are not terrestrial orchids. Though they are shown in beds, they are in pots (with gravel), and then sunk into gravel beds. The gravel just anchors them so they don’t fall down.
