That is a massive understatement. Things were looking pretty good at the end of the 20th Century. 2001 is the year everything started unraveling, and now we are on the brink of a fascist revolution.

Historians will some day mark September 10th, 2001 as the high-water mark of the United States of America.

And may well come to note 2024 as the year that the American Experiment in Representative Democracy failed.
