Obama Botches Meeting with British PM

Good morning Charles!
It isn’t that Obama was tired. The White House has an office for diplomatic protocols and the head of it is usually not a partisan pick, but someone who serves until he/she retires or dies.
I’d guess that the Obama’s don’t know that this office exists or that Rahm Emmauel side-tracked their little briefing folder for the President. Either way this was not a “stumble” on the Obamas’ part (Michelle got into the gaffe giving too), it was an insult to the United States’ singular most reliable ally over the last 50 years - indeed, former PM Tony
Blair virtually threw his political career away by maintaining that “Special Relationship” and not just over Iraq, but over Afghanistan which clearly deserved all that it’s received and a lot more for harboring Osama bin Laden BEFORE AND AFTER 9/11.
That the MSM doesn’t report this very much, if at all, has our friends in Great Britain almost as upset as the original treatment of PM Brown by the Obamas.

Yet Obama can make “overtures” to the “moderate” elements of the Taliban and THAT will get some coverage because it shows he’s serious about dealing with the war in Afghanistan.
Other than Rathergate, I can’t remember a time when I was more disgusted with OUR MSM.
