I miss George W.

With his hiring Condi and Powel, his administration was the apex of a post-racist Republican party. Who would have guessed that his was the last time we’d see a non-racist party?

I have a horrible feeling that if Obama had run years earlier, that we would have seen the KKK/tea party GOP those years sooner, that even GW might have run as a white racist if that’s what his party wanted.

He was certainly willing to run a dirty campaign in Florida. Being clean wasn’t his thing, even if being earnest was.
