I won’t be watching to see what happens next, but my guess is more pro Trump BS, especially since the ratings are massive right now.

I disagree, I think they have gotten the current-events politics out right at the beginning (and it wasn’t even that much, TBH); I wonder how much of the hate toward the Roseanne revival is because Roseanne herself is so shitty IRL and not because the show itself is bad (because, for 95% of the hour it was on last night, it wasn’t bad at all and was pretty much classic Roseanne, just up-to-date).

I seriously doubt that Goodman, Gilbert (who, in addition to her host and producer duties for The Talk, is also a producer on this), Metcalf, and Galecki would have come back to do this if they thought it was going to hurt their careers.
