Who’s the they you’re referring to? The GOPers I’ve mentioned? He’s going to try and sweeten a bill to get them on board, which is run of the mill politics, but has to carry out a balancing act to keep his lefties in Congress happy - because they are threatening to vote against unless their extremist views aren’t satiated.

But the GOP in general has had absolutely no input in the Obamacare. That’s how Pelosi and Reid have run things. It’s what happens when you run a filibuster proof majority where you don’t need the minority to get anything done.

So, the Democrats can and do own this mess.
