I’m liberal to the core and a ridiculously passionate sports fan. So, yeah, breaking the mold all day every day.

Just speculating how many of the grab the ball from the little kids people are Rs and how many are Ds. Would be an interesting study.

I recall one of the golden days of my childhood with my older brother who took me to a Cubs game in 1968, a double header against the Cardinals, which they swept. He caught a foul ball in the stands and let me keep it.

I made the mistake of showing it off to the kids in the neighborhood back in Gary.

Never saw it again…
