The fact is, the USA needs a multiplicity of political beliefs and attitudes to *be* the USA. While it would be great if everyone agreed with liberal values, in truth monolithic thinking and monolithic governments cannot survive for long. We need rational people to govern the country, and to debate its future. Trumpists are not those people.
