Yep…..as long as that little disclaimer is on the packaging or product, then it’s more or less legal. Highly unethical, to put it mildly, but not strictly illegal.

The FTC can come after him for false advertising. they have already gone after several supplement companies. As long as they are making vague claims about it supporting good health they are ok, as soon as they make a claim about it curing something though the label on the the product will not be a defense.
