As we are in an apartment building in a in a NY city commuter area, in the ‘burbs, that is locked, and you must be buzzed in, after we get a buzz and ask who it is, on the intercom, and refuse to buzz anyone in that is not someone we know? And we can see the UPS delivery truck, etc.? And even though we are on the first floor, it is elevated, and the balcony is too high to climb over even if you are 8 feet tall? And we have garden boxes on the balcony? Not afraid.

And there has been 1 murder here in the 37 years we live in this building…in a garden apartment blocks away.

I just checked on Google to be sure.
