I’d love to be able to be a stay-at-home dad. Maybe eventually, when my wife has a faculty position.

It’s not all good. I’m a stay-at-home dad by circumstance, not choice. The number of people who believe that day-care is bad and someone should always stay home instead but who call me lazy because I don’t work and my wife does is incredible. I can count on one hand using no fingers or thumbs the number of folks who say “good for you” the same way the do for the stay-at-home mom’s they meet.
