Combine my link and report about cops killed in the line of duty and the utility of bpvs.

The PA shootings referenced by lidane above - 3 cops were injured, including one who was shot while wearing a bpv, 1 injured in a crash, and 1 by flying debris. Tell me again how having police in schools (or shopping malls, supermarkets, etc., or Holocaust museum, or Capitol Hill) is a deterrent to a determined shooter?
