For me, I ask myself about what the key issues have been that define wehre we are as a nation and then I ask myself where the right has been on those issues. They’ve mostly been not merely wrong but dead wrong on them.

Conservatives are always on the wrong side of history. That’s what comes of fighting against every improvement in who we are.
