:D

In my house we have two sets of tools, his and hers. The hubby is a professional, me not so much. Ended up being less stressful on his part to just go out and get me my own set. LOL Worked out well though because he picked out smaller and more lightweight versions, well with the exception that sometimes he now wants to use mine!!

Same thing here.
AND I wrote my name on “my” tools. Otherwise they tend to get “lost”.

I’ve learned to paint very well, I can spackle, I can apply caulk, I can hammer a nail straight, I can saw/cut whatever I want, I can install a new faucet …

Daughter wanted a bookcase for her room, and wanted the shelves positioned certain ways. She and hubby went and picked out wood, and they built it and finished it. So now she can do some things as well.

I’m very surprised, honestly, at the number of folks who’ve never had any experience doing these sorts of basic things around the house.
