Doesn’t Mich have a Repub Gov and didn’t Mich just pass an increase in the minimum wage (admittedly by less than a proposed ballot initiative would have)? I’m surprised the teabagging shock troops haven’t rioted over that one.

The min wage increase was to $9.25 not $10.10 which the labor activists wanted, so it was a last ditch effort by state GOP to keep it from going on the ballot. Rick Snyder is GOP, in fact MI has had more GOP governors in the past 40 years than TX.
