Why would anybody outside of the Military Police need a gun on-base? Seriously, we get told all the time that we can’t put restrictions on semi-auto rifles because they’re not responsible for a majority of gun deaths in any given year, but at the same time we’re supposed to believe there’s such an epidemic of gun-related deaths on military installations that people being able to carry a gun for “self-defense” is a major issue.
