I think his behavior was inappropriate. Don’t know if it rises to actual harassment.

Also, some of these accusers are anonymous, so it is hard to say if some of this is not just piling on.

on the count of women, you are, and (sadly) were correct from the start. you said the number would grow and it is growing.

as i wrote now 10 days ago, i think using the word “harassed” is an error:

i dont see sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, use of nasty or threatening language. it doesnt appear that there was any hostile or offensive work environment. and no one seems to have complained to anyone in authority at the time.

the incidents seem to be open to differing and questionable interpretations. incidents that do not impose a “general civility code” tend to be excluded as harassment.

i dont see asymmetrical power, no bullying or coercion of a sexual nature, no unwelcome or inappropriate promise of rewards in exchange for sexual favors

that’s why its not “harassment”. which has a specific and legal meaning

i would use another word instead of “harassing”
