My plan involves a generator with a really good muffler, some peanut butter, crackers, canned goods and patience. My (pre-apocalyptic) condolences.

My children have a wide genetic pool to help repopulate our Earth, if the time comes. I plan to ride it out and migrate to Canada.

My family and I will join up with the African American public utility worker tribe.
Not a stronger, more capable bunch.
