Nope—according to the chief, Wilson knew nothing about anybody being a “suspect” when he made the stop.

I’ve heard conflicting reports on this. One of my FB friends - a strictly conservative troll from Canada who apparently doesn’t understand American racism at all - says that the police chief said Wilson heard the call over the radio and knew Brown was a suspect. I seem to recall some statement or implication along those lines near the beginning of this whole thing, but I haven’t heard it restated lately.
