I interpreted it as him saying “someone else did it” but I can see those lizards who are saying he meant “I didn’t do it and was unfairly convicted”.

In any case, he ran a ship where profit (costs cut, volume mined) mattered and shortcuts of other kinds, safety work rules, ect were expected to be made to meet those goals. Making a charge that like stick in court is tough but the evidence was rock solid, safety was undermined as an explicit company policy, and he deserved a lot more than just one year in jail.

Hopefully, if he becomes the GOP candidate the votes remember all that.

Did he not claim it was the government agency in charge of mine safety that set new air quality standards which led to the explosion. That is why he claims to be a political prisoner. The U.S. Government…that Negro Person in the White House, did that to me!!!
